Alien Artifact is a prog/power metal opera project featuring several male and female vocalists. The theme of the album is an alien invasion in general, but the songs are portraying various characters and their entangled fates
Observatory girl:
I studied all my life to explain
The mysteries around us
I understand there's so much more
Than meets the eye
Too many thoughts to fathom running
Through my feeble mind
And I'm afraid they started eating me
From the inside
I wondered so many times
Are we truly alone in this universe
Does the vast black expanse
Hide the truth of the life
Are the stars something more
Than just sources of light
What we see with our eyes
Is just part of the whole
Can a simple soul like me
Perceive it all alone
Religious girl:
You became so troubled,
Restless and afraid
You need to take time and get back
Some piece of mind
Science made you always searching,
Always questioning
Can't you see It's all in your heart,
All the answers you need
I never had any doubts,
My fate will guide me through eternity
Does the vast black expanse
Hide the truth of the life
Are the stars something more
Than just sources of light
What we see with our eyes
Is just part of the whole
Can a simple soul like me
Perceive it all alone
